I watched this movie on December 20th 2012 in XXI cinema. That was the premiere day of “Habibie and Ainun” movie. Actually, this movie taken from the true story and a novel which is created by BJ Habibie. The novel was release on November 30th 2010 and it needed only 3 months to be the best seller book. Faozan Rizal, a director, could make that novel to be a romantic movie.

• Interpretative recountRudy Habibie (Reza Rahadian) is a genius and always has a proud achievement in his school. Similarly with Ainun (Bunga Citra Lestari) that also a clever girl. Although the first introduction off them was not fun, they finally reunited when they start to growing up.Habibie is so surprised when he know that Ainun “the black girl” turn into a beautiful girl. Since then, they both fall in love. With the education experience. Habibie determines to purpose Ainun and moves to Germany.Of course it is not easy to reach the dream, they both know it. Their love getting perfect in the process of realizing the dream. They had face the cold snow in Germany, sacrifice, pain, loneliness and the temptations of wealth and power, but both of them stay focus on their promises and dream.

• Evaluation Reza Rahardian as Habibie’s role is

able to turn the character on. Starts from his gestures, his emotional and his romantic character. He gets the chemistry with Bunga Citra Lestari as Ainun. Bunga Citra Lestari gives a good role on. Her affection, anxiety and worry shown in a good appropriate emotion. Although perform with a minimal portion of the story, the presence of a supporting actor is able to strengthen the quality of the movie.

• Evaluation summationAdmittedly, the story of Habibie and

Ainun is not a lot filled with dramatic romance conflict. The minimalist conflict is arranged with a good solving. The conflict comes from their relation and from politics on Habibie’s life. The movie also has a fresh humor typical of the youth 70’s which is believed to be able to provoke the laugh of viewer. Through this film, Habibie told many positive moral value about devotion to nation, a sense of love for Indonesia and spirit to reach the dream.
