Student Recruitment

• 5 members of staff, including 2 enquiries assistants

• All deliver presentations and visit schools, colleges and HE events

• Will be able to offer some support and advice for events

Important Information1. MMIs:• An innovative and new way of assessing

applicants• A series of different, short ‘interviews/activities’

rather than a single long interview• Five minutes in each ‘station’ before moving on• Range of different activities that could involve:

- Answering questions- Explaining your thinking- Role play with an actor- Practical tasks

Important Information2. Adjusted Criteria• For applicants who are not predicted AAA we

will look at school performance and compare their grades to the average for their School

• If their performance is 60% above their School average they will still be considered for an interview and may receive a lower offer to minimum of BBCb
