He was an Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, poet, and engineer who exerted an unparalleled influence on thedevelopment of Western art. Considered to be one of three titans ofthe Renaissance art with Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael. 5. He was an Italian painter andarchitect of the HighRenaissance. Many of hisworks are found in the Apostolic Palace of The Vatican, where the frescoed Raphael Roomswere the central, and thelargest, work of his career. 6. Renaissance literature begins withDante, Petrarch continues withGiovanni Bokacho, Ludovico Ariosto,Torkuato Taso. Dante Alighieri was an Italian poet from the city ofFlorence. His most famouswork is "Divine Comedy" ("La Divina Commedia"),culminating in the developmentof medieval literature andfundamental to the development of modern Italy. 8. He was a Spanish novelist, poet, and playwright.His great work, Don Quixote, considered thefirst modern novel is a classic of Westernliterature, and is regarded amongst the best works of fiction ever written. 9. He was famous English playwright and poet, recognized in Western culture as the most important writer in English literature. Shakespeare is the few playwrights who excelin writing both the tragedies and the comedies.His ability to capture and transmit the deepestaspects of human nature entitle many to consider him the consummate talent, and theEnglish Renaissance is often called"Shakespeare time. 10. Bulgaria also has artists like as Leonardoda Vinci. For example Zahari Zograf.He is arguably the most famous Bulgarianpainter of the Bulgarian National Revival,noted for his church mural paintings and iconsand often regarded as the founder of secularart in Bulgaria due to the introduction ofeveryday life elements in his work.The other is Vladimir Dimitrov Maystora. He is considered one of the mosttalented 20th century Bulgarian paintersand probably the most remarkable stylist inBulgarian painting. His skills reach thoseof Leonardo da Vinci. 11. In Bulgaria, the greatest impact on the renaissance feels in preservedfrescoes of the rock monastery near the village of Ivanovo, Ruse.Founder of the monastery was a Bulgarian Tsar John Alexander.Ivanovo rock churches are listed as World Heritage by UNESCO and isone of the 9 such sites in Bulgaria. Popular tourist sites. The BoyanaChurch is a medieval Bulgarian Orthodox church situated on the outskirtsof Sofia. The church owes its world fame mainly to its frescoes from1259. They form a second layer over the paintings from earlier centuriesand represent one of the most complete and well-preserved monuments ofEastern European mediaeval art. The church also was established inRenaissance style. 13. School of Mathematics "Dr. PetarBeron" - Varna was established inautumn 1883.It was built as planned by architectPetko Momchilov in style "modernrenaissance". For decades, this is the mostbeautiful school building inBulgaria. 14. All these personalities and theirworks have a significant influenceon the Renaissance.
