Mac and Cheese Ingredients 1 3 cup pasta • ½ cup water • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese • ¼ cup milk Directions Combine all ingredients in a large mug. Microwave on high for two minutes, then stir (place a plate under the mug if concerned about water overflow) then heat for another 2 – 4 minutes stirring in 2 minute intervals, the liquid should absorb completely and the pasta will be cooked through. French Toast Ingredients • Butter (to grease mug) • 1 slice of bread • 1 egg • 3 tablespoons of milk • Salt • Ground pepper Directions Grease the inside of the mug, and then cut bread into small cubes. Add an egg and 3 tablespoons of milk to your mug, sprinkle with salt and cracked pepper and beat together with a fork. Add the cubes of bread to the mug and mix gently. Let the mixture soak into the bread. Microwave for 70 seconds, or until your toast is perfect. Nutella Mug Cake Ingredients • 2 tablespoons self-raising flour • 2 tablespoons sugar • 1 egg • 1½ tablespoons cocoa powder • 2 tablespoons Nutella • 1½ tablespoons milk • 1½ tablespoons vegetable oil • Whipped cream for topping (if desired) Directions Combine flour, sugar, egg, cocoa, Nutella, milk and oil in a large mug. Whisk well with a fork until smooth. Microwave on high for 1½ – 3 minutes, or until done. Add whipped cream topping and enjoy! GF Brownie Ingredients • 4 tablespoons of gluten-free flour (self-raising) • 4 tablespoons of brown sugar • 2 tablespoons of cocoa • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil • 2 tablespoons of milk • Ice cream (optional) Directions Combine all ingredients in a mug. Mix well and microwave for 1 minute. Eat whilst still warm with a dollop of ice cream on top. Quiche Ingredients • 1 egg • 1½ tablespoons milk • Salt • Ground black pepper • ¼ of a bagel (or similar amount of French bread, etc.) • 2 teaspoons cream cheese • ½ slice prosciutto or ham • Fresh thyme leaves or fresh chopped chives • Dijon mustard Directions Beat egg and milk with a fork in a large mug, add salt and pepper to taste. Tear bread into 5 cent sized pieces and stir in. Stir in cream cheese. Tear or cut prosciutto into small pieces and add to mixture. Sprinkle with thyme. Microwave on high for 70 seconds, or until mixture appears to have set. Garnish with mustard and herbs. Scrambled eggs Ingredients • Butter or oil (to grease mug) • 2 eggs • 2 tablespoons of milk • Salt & pepper • Grated cheese (optional) Directions Grease the mug with butter or oil, add eggs and milk and beat with a fork until smooth. Microwave for 45 seconds, stir the eggs with a fork and microwave for a further 30 – 45 seconds and stir again. Add some grated cheese on top and season with salt and pepper if desired; enjoy!
