1. Pupils have to master vocabularies from the Year 4 to Year 6 text book.

2. Pupils need to study the pictures given in order to answer the questions.

3. Pupils have to identify and underline the key words.

4. Pupils use the WH questions to derive the information from the pictures.

5. Pupils should study the options given to choose the best answer.

1. Before proceeding to the options, pupils should study the pictures and also the dialogues in the speech bubbles.

2. Pupils need to understand the social function in the questions (to enquire, to assure, to inform, to explain, to apologize).

3. The upper bubble is the first speaker and the lower bubble is the second speaker. Based on these, pupils will be able to choose the best sentence that fits the empty speech bubble according to the social function.

1. Pupils need to read and study all the options.

2. Pupils need to circle errors found in the options.

3. Pupils should compare the sentence with the other options until they find the sentence without errors.

1. Pupils need to read and study the text to determine the tense involved.

2. The topic sentence of the text will help the pupils to know what is the paragraph is all about.

3. Look for clues (words that show the tense) in the text and underlined them.

4. The clues and the pictures will enable the pupils to choose the correct answer.

1. Pupils have to master all types of comprehensions, linear or non linear.

2. Emphasise the pupils to read the text at least twice.

3. During the first reading, pupils need to get the general view of the text.

4. During the second reading, pupils make sure they understand the whole text especially the important points.

5. Pupils should read and understand the questions. Underline the key words in each questions.
