Plans for Future Alyssa Bolante When I graduate in May I hope to have a position in the Office of Residence Life at a college or university where I will bring the skills that I have learned in Instructional Technology with me. For example, digital advertisement is becoming popular on college and university campuses to help with going green. With the advantage of a background in Instructional Technology Im able to not only relate to students, but as well as professors who may not know the opportunities technology can bring them in the classroom. After working in the Office of Residence Life for a couple of years I hope to work as a nurse in a hospital integrating more technology friendly equipment to teach patients more about their diagnoses. Instead of a child watching a DVD about diabetes, he or she will be able to use an iPad to understand what diabetes is. Then given the opportunity work with a specialized marketing agency that uses education to help people develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage important health decisions, and ultimately achieve better health outcomes. Programs that support people living with chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, mental illness and cancer through educational models and platforms to engage patients, such as gaming, mobile, interactive, social media, iPad, etc.

Plans for Future

Alyssa Bolante

When I graduate in May I hope to have a position in the Office of Residence Life at a college or

university where I will bring the skills that I have learned in Instructional Technology with me.

For example, digital advertisement is becoming popular on college and university campuses to

help with going green. With the advantage of a background in Instructional Technology I’m able

to not only relate to students, but as well as professors who may not know the opportunities

technology can bring them in the classroom.

After working in the Office of Residence Life for a couple of years I hope to work as a nurse in a

hospital integrating more technology friendly equipment to teach patients more about their

diagnoses. Instead of a child watching a DVD about diabetes, he or she will be able to use an

iPad to understand what diabetes is.

Then given the opportunity work with a specialized marketing agency that uses education to help

people develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage important health decisions, and

ultimately achieve better health outcomes. Programs that support people living with chronic

conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, mental illness and cancer through

educational models and platforms to engage patients, such as gaming, mobile, interactive, social

media, iPad, etc.
