PAATA BURCHULADZE

Succses Mr Burchuladze has won several competitions including

the international vocal competition Voci Verdiane in Busseto (1981), the gold medal and first prize at the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow (1982), first prize at International Luciano Pavarotti Competition (1985) and First Prize in the Maria Callas Competition (1986). 

Kammersänger In July 1998 the State Opera of Stuttgart awarded Mr

Burchuladze’s loyalty with the title Kammersänger. Mr Burchuladze holds the titles of: United Nations goodwill ambassador, UNICEF Goodwill ambassador, Commendatore in Italy, and the 1st Class Austrian Cross of Honor for Science and Art (Austria’s highest accolade awarded by the Austrian President).

Charity found “Iavnana” Paata Burchuladze created his Iavnana Charity Foundation

after seeing one of the orphanages in his native country Georgia. he found out that the mother was the most cherished word for the children who had never seen their mothers. Maestro also discovered for himself, that the children’s homes basically sheltered the kids from socially unprotected families where mothers would part with there babies only due to, there extreme poverty. Starting from 2004 , the Iavnana Foundation has headed the international act named “Let us save the future together” for which returning the children from orphanages to their own mothers has become the main objective. Charity concerst have been orginized in Georgia. The world renowned opera stars have performed in the Iaavnana gala concerts. As a resul 200 children had returned to their mothers and just as many were saved from being placed in institutions.

I decided to make presentation about Paata Burchuladze Because I do respect him due to his charity and generally his activities. Georgia needs more people like him… ^_^
