It is great to be back and this term promises to be another action packed term with swimming,
volleyball and market day being some of the key activities your child will be participating in. We have started the term with the demolition of the old school. The children have adjusted well to the change in their environment and are very excited about the new build. Remember to stay up to date by accessing the school newsletter via emails, the website and our Skoolbag App. The team would like to thank you for your continued support in helping to ensure your child is prepared for school each day.
Please feel free to contact your child’s
teacher if you have any concerns.

Over the next few weeks, teachers will be completing end of year assessments in Reading, Maths, Spelling and Writing, for end of year reports.
We continue our Topic from term 3, “Money, Money…It Must Be Money”. Students are busy creating product prototypes, in order to have their best products ready to be sold in week 8, at the TGS Summer Market on the 2nd of December.
In Maths, students will be practicing knowledge and strategies they have learned throughout the year. We will also be studying statistical probability and measurement.
Students will be practicing writing poetry using a range of frameworks, e.g., Haiku, cinquain. They will learn to use and understand language features e.g., alliteration, personification, similes and metaphors to add effect. During the term they will also be learning to write instructions.
