•Compare the theoretical probabilities to the experimental probabilities.

Justify why you think there are differences and/or similarities.

•Describe any similarities and differences.

•Which do you think is more accurate, theoretical or experimental probability? Why?

What could you do to make either of these probabilities more accurate?

How would you do this experiment differently?

What did I learn from this?

Questions Continued

4. We think that Experimental probability is more reliable then the theoretical probability because with experimental you can actually test it but with theoretical you have to follow the theory.

2. With our M&Ms we found that only one was the same as theoretical that was yellow the rest were different by 1% to 6%

3. We think there were differences because all the M&M packets are different.

1. We think the one that’s more correct for our packets is the experimental probability because all packets are different

5. How we would make the theoretical more accurate is have lots of different theory's for lots of different packets

6.How we could do this experiment differently is we could try to be a little more accurate with the calculator so we don’t have to do to much rounding.

7. We learnt the difference between theoretical and experimental probability. Also how many M&Ms are in a little packet. How to use a 100 cm ruler to help with rounding decimals.
