  • 4. Enrolling in a Course
    Course Selection
You will see a list of courses appear the first time you login to the Moodle site.
Select one of the courses for which you are enrolled. Be certain to pay attention to the section of the course, to prevent accidentally enrolling in the wrong course section.
  • 5. Selecting yes to self-enroll
Select YES if you are certain the course you have selected is one in which you are registered.
  • 6. Opening course at self-enrollment
I can see what course and where in the course I am by looking at the crumbs across the top of the course page.
  • 7. What to do first in the course block
  • 8. Enrolled in the wrong course/section?
If you select the wrong course for enrollment, DO NOT PANIC!
Politely, you should either email or call the instructor listed in the syllabus, and let him/her know that you accidentally enrolled in the wrong course section.
The instructor can un-enroll you from the course. You will see the class removed from your list of courses once the instructor has deleted your enrollment.
  • 9. You can always come back to the main page of the site without logging in and out.
The crumb NDCM will always take you back to your course site that lists all courses in which you have enrolled.
  • 10. My Courses
Once you have enrolled in at least one course, you will see that course listed, and only that course.
You will need to search for the other courses for which you need to enroll.
Do this by selecting the ALL COURSES button.
  • 11. Selecting Additional Courses
You can browse the list for additional courses that you need to enroll in for the semester by following the same process shown in this presentation.
Continue to select courses until you have all courses/sections in your list of My Courses.
You will not be able to self-enroll in courses after a specified date (see instructor).
