There is a limit to the number of teams that can participate in this unique educational program. To participate, each group of students must meet various criteria: Pre-requisite Course Work: • Software Engineering (Software Planning/Design) • Data Structures/Intro to Algorithmic Analysis • Computer Networks (Understanding of networking) • Hands-on programming course using Java, Python, Ruby, Javascript or PHP Pre-requisite Skills/Background: • Experience with a hi-level programming language • Strong understanding of networking solutions, including MPLS/Traffic Engineering • Experience with REST programming API • Familiarity with SDN concepts and architecture • Small project experience April 11th through April 20th Birmingham City University, United Kingdom Participation is open to graduate and undergraduate level students who are currently enrolled in a university. Students should have completed the pre-requisite course work and possess the noted background skills to effectively address the application exercise.
