This is the software that I decided to use in accordance to making my music video- movie maker. As I
had used this software last year for my thriller opening, I was well experienced in the use of it and
could also add more conventions that I hadn’t last year.
I like movie maker because it is very simplistic and has many things to make my music video look
very interesting. For instance this tool bar gives access to features where I can add effect’s to my
music video. It can distort the images, change colours around to black and white and other colours.
As you can see the effect that is currently selected change the image around to the other side.
This print screen also shows the tool bar in which I was able to overlap the song “ain’t nobody’
business”. In this bar I was able to make emphasis on the video’s original background noise or to
decrease it and the same with the song. This was good because I could mute out the orig inal noise
from the recordings that we had made. This meant that no noise that the actors made would be
heard in the video.
There was also a bar where I was able to zoom in and out on the video. This was perfect because I
was able to trim and split the video in places where I needed to. It gave me the chance to trim the
videos with perfect accuracy and this came in handy for when I had to fit the lip syncing parts of the
video to the song.
