Part 1: Introduction to the Workshop and Getting Acquainted (30 min): ● Moodle as a platform based on a Constructivist Approach with Pedagogy of
Engagement and Teaching as a Way to Learn.
Part 2: Learning and Teaching with Moodle (30 min): ● Learn how to navigate a Moodle course, use the rich editor with its
multimedia features and microphone capability (PoodLL), updating personal Moodle profile, and posting to the online discussion forums.
● Discuss the meaning of authentic learning and brainstorming ideas for collaborative lessons and projects.
● Choose the format for the course: fully online, blended, flipped.

Part 3: Exploring Moodle Tools as Teachers and Managers (30 min) ● Explore and practice using the resources available on Moodle (labels, books,
web links, file links, web pages) ● Exploring and using the activities available on the Moodle (3 kinds of discussion
forums, choices, assignments, checklists)
Part 4: Applying Moodle Tools in Course Design (90 min): ● Practicing Moodle resources and activities and blocks as teacher and manager
of the Moodle Site ● Selecting appropriate tools for engaging students in active learning ● Designing assignments encouraging collaboration and active participation ● Developing a module on M4T website with the Moodle and Web 2.0 tools.
