A Ministry Funded Intervention to accelerate learning in an area of literacy over a period of 10 weeks. What does it involve ? PD for leaders around acceleration, the theory of action of putting ALL into practise Inquiry into writing and raising achievement in writing for target students in class with an over and above component of teaching. Our Plan of Action/Keys to Success: We selected students who we believed we could move. We worked on building strong relationships and got to know them as individuals - background, family, interests, talents, passions We knew we had lots of work to do on raising their levels of engagement. So motivation and interest was critical. Our first eAsTTle sample was rather frightening - there were significant gaps and we needed to prioritise their goals. These students were withdrawn for some support with Racheal but most of their learning took place within their usual classroom with the focus on building teacher capability.

What is ALL?

A Ministry Funded Intervention to accelerate learning in an
