• When I was researching on album covers I saw the females album covers are either close up’s of their face or it’s mid shots of them where as with male artist it’s a long shot so you can see the surrounding however with male rappers album covers are either a close up of their face or a mid shot so their bodies are showing which tells the audience the are muscular and strong . Whereas with bands they’re long shots or mid shots so they can fit all the band members in the picture.

• Female album covers make them look perfect with makeup and the clothes they wear. Their album covers are close ups of their face or a mid shot of them to show they’re perfect and flawless. Whereas with bands their album covers are long shots of the girls standing up or them sitting down.

• Overall I found that CD covers represent a single of the song that has come out for example Katy Perry Teenage dream represents the single California Girls. In addition the album name is mostly a name of one of the singles on the album.

The back part of the album has either the same picture at the front or a picture from the first

single. Sometimes they use the background of the shot.

These are some pop artists digi pack. Rihanna’s album has two different

pictures of her on the front and back so does Beyoncé however Katy Perry

has the background of her picture.

I have also realised that most female artist who very popular in the industry

are topless on their album cover. And clothed in their back cover

At the back of the album every CD cover has the

label they are signed to in this case it’s epic records

and the company that owns it who are Sony music.

They have the site of the artist. It’s also got a

copyright sign with some details about the album

and it’s got a barcode whether it’s at the top or

bottom of the cover.
