• You can find the mean of a set of data by finding the sum of the numbers you have and dividing by the amount of numbers you have.

Set of numbers: 5, 7, 7, 10, 12, 14, 155+7+7+10+12+14+15= 70

70/7=10 Mean=10

Mean ActivityMary wants to know how high she can jump. She realizes that she can’t rely on just one jump so she decides to record how high she jumps each of 15 times. The following is a graph she made to record her data:
