Mass media are informal agencies of education . They are called mass media; because they impart education to large masses simultaneously . Mass media make the present educational programs more universal; effective and meaningful.

1. Films are one of the most impressive

medium of knowledge these days.

2. Films help pupil to learn about the latest

discoveries and inventions.

launching rockets to the space ; the

conquest of Everest etc have become part

of our direct experience by the help of

films.

4. They are a series of educational as well as entertainment films that could be used for school children

5. Whole universe can be brought to the classroom through films and very abstract ideas made concrete and meaningful to pupil.

ADVANTAGES OF MOVIES• The educational films make the concept more

clear , durable and realistic.

• Motion picture arouse interest in children and

satisfy their emotions.

• Motion pictures bring the past, the distant to the

classroom.
