I duplicated the layer and changed the layer on top to black and white. I then used the polygonal lasso tool and selected the guitars body and then used the rubber to rub out the black and white on the top layer and the colour from the other layer is seen, I then did the same thing for the neck of the guitar. Once I had this image, I opened a new page which was my double page spread and put this image on the right hand side and used the eye dropper tool to copy one of the colours and put it on the other side.

Page 1: Making of double page spread

I duplicated the layer and changed the layer on top to black and white. Once I had this image, I opened a new page which was my double page spread and put this image on the right hand side and used the eye dropper tool to copy one of the colours and put it on the other side.

After I had the page setup, I started to add text; first I added the title of the page in a large font, after I added the subtitle in a slightly smaller font. I then a pull quote in the bottom middle of the page. I then wrote the article itself.
