In it You’ll Find:

WHY USE IT?
It’s an excellent research tool for students of any age.
Use it to:
• Gain information about a story, play, or novel.
• Understand the historical background of the work.
• Identify themes that might be found in the novel
or play.
• Review the critical analysis of the author’s work.

any patron of a library who subscribes to it.
HOW TO SEARCH…
• Locate the MagillOnLiterature Plus through your
library’s online database listings.
• Select It.
• Begin Your Basic or Advanced Search.
THE BASIC SEARCH…
Click in this box and type your search terms.
Click on the Search box. Enter your search terms. (Notice the Search Options and Limit Your Results sections. Use them to narrow your search even more
i.e. by full text articles, publication years, literary genre & etc.).
BASIC SEARCH RESULTS…
• Review the results
listing and select the
article you wish to
explore.
• If needed, further
refine your search by
Subject Matter, Full
Text, Images Available,
and Publication.
View the article by
clicking in either of
these places.

• Fill in one or

keywords (i.e.

author, etc.).
• You can search
one field or
