1991. It is based in Europe but conducts inspections in over 80

countries, making it one of the largest organic certification organizations in

the world.

Article 1 -. Amend Annex 1 of Resolution 116 of the COMEX, which amended Resolution 450 COMEXI including subheadings consisting Annex I of this

resolution and excluding items therein contained in Annex 2 of this same resolution.

. Article 2 - Resolution 450 is added an article with the following:

"Art - .... Prototypes and samples imported for conducting necessary tests for obtaining control of Endocrinology document not required to have this

document for import into the country. The importer or importer shall request the authorization to import MIPRO prototypes and / or samples, physical or

electronic document issued by the MIPRO will be presented to SENAE for the importation of such goods. "• This Resolution was adopted at a meeting held January 14, 2014

The EU and Ecuador progress in negotiations for a trade agreement

• The European Union (EU) and Ecuador concluded with "significant progress" the first round of work since they decided to resume the negotiations for a trade agreement bloc already signed with Colombia and Peru.

• "Good preparation and active engagement of both parties has allowed important progress throughout the week of talks towards an outcome that would benefit trade and investment between the EU and Ecuador, at the time that takes into account the key sensitivities of the two sides", he said the European Commission (EC) in a statement, at the end of the round.
