A long black dress conforms to typical

conventions of a ghostly possessed girl. The

black colour also allows her to blend into the dark shadow, giving a

scarier effect.

I used the knife as it is a convention that is very

typical of the horror genre, it can also add connotations of death which helps add to the

haunting feel of the house.

The ID card will be found by one of the

girls, this allows them to have an image of the girl who used to live there and who later haunts them.

The Piano adds to the dated look of the house but also can be used to conforms to older style

conventions from horror films of a soft piano score
