Lighting Ideas

I have decided to keep it relatively simple regarding the lighting in my trailer. The majority of my trailer is filmed in a woodland area and is going to be set a night, or when it is dark, the lighting I will be using is ambient lighting. However, because it is still an enclosed area, it is unlikely that the characters will be seen clearly if it is to dark. Therefore, I am going to bring torches to create key lighting to enable the audiences to see the characters. This will be conventional as most slasher films are set a night, in dark isolated settings like my own, who also have a lack and minimal lighting options.

For the car scene I am going to use available lighting. As it is going to be dark, I will use the light in the car, so that whilst filming the audience will be able to see the characters faces clearly. It will not make a massive difference, which is good as it will still reiterate the fact that it is nighttime.
