• Some of you will be able to draw on examples to generate ideas and discuss graphic narratives.

Warm Up• Introduce yourself and explain who your

favourite character is and why.

• Could be a game, or comic book character.

The Unit • Learn how to use Photoshop and create digital

graphics

• Learn how to create your own 15 panel graphic novel

• Learn about digital graphics theory

• Learn about inking, pencilling, lettering and colouring

Assignments• Assignment 1- Concept art portfolio and pre-production

• Assignment 2- Graphic novel or comic book with production diary

• Assignment 3- Digital Graphics Theory Podcast Presentation

• Assignment 4- Creating an animated sprite of your character for a game
