Analyze the learner10th grade class
14 girls, 8 boys.
Rural County High School
3 boys and 2 girls have IEP’s for ADD and below average reading levels.
ObjectiveThe learners will identify and comprehend all the parts of the
Johari Window; the students will be using videos, text, podcasts and lecture to have an 89% comprehension level that will be determined by the quality of their personal class blogs.
Monday –Detail Johari Window; how we would use this this in everyday life.
Utilize smart board to have a group discussion by adding appropriate items in each section of the window
Use our blogs to talk about how they think they can use this technique in their life.
Daily Break Down- Monday
TuesdayExplain Open Self;
Listen to Johari Window Podcast
Using Digital Imaging software to take selfie and add things that are open about the student.
Add to students blog on open self and what they think is open about themselves.
WednesdayExplain Hidden Self
Watch Youtube videos on Johari Window and Hidden self
Create something out of material about your open and hidden self (Arts and Bots)
Further add to blog about things that they may feel is hidden to others.
ThursdayExplain Blind Self
Create Poster about the first three pains of the window (open, hidden, blind) and leave 4th open to be added to later.
Discuss how we will use the zello app should they have questions about the weeks assignments.
Continue in the blog about what you think maybe the bling self items and create a alter ego in the blog that is what you think others are thinking (make it fun)
FridayExplain Unknown Self;
Assign to comment on FB videos on the class page and to comment on the pictures that will be posted other the other projects that the class has done; post screenshots of the comments in your blog.
Take the Poll that is on the Class Twitter feed, use myself(Nathan) as examples in the poll meaning ask questions like which window will Mr. Miller has blonde hair go in. Answer Open
