Mai, Thailand English Teacher Taught English to over 300 students
in 10 classes ages 15-20 at one of the most challenging schools in
the city. Students were beginner English learners. Used a game-
learning approach to overcome cultural learning differences and
inspire a love of the English language. Created all curriculum and

Tutoring Program & Community Outreach Coordinator An an
Americorps employee, I coordinated a school- wide tutoring program
for at-risk students to increase graduation rates and improve
English language skills. I also coordinated events, art showcases
and community involvement nights to connect students and families
to their neighborhood, local businesses and nearby University of
Portland. RHS is Oregons poorest high school and has the worst
overall rating according to Oregons Annual Report Cards. I had the
opportunity to work with a wide range of students of

specialize in social media strategy for brands in the travel/

their aversion to new tasks and activities and have condence in

Westwind Otis, Oregon Coast Counselor and Riding Instructor As a
counselor, member of the diversity team and horse back riding
instructor, I led students ages 8-15 through 8 weeks of summer camp
on the Oregon coast. We strived to teach campers to accept
differences, love themselves and appreciate and understand the
beautiful natural environment surrounding them. We hosted camp for
socio- economically disadvantaged students, disabled students as
well as a teen mom camp and also gay family camp. I will be headed
