Vice President Assumes all duties of President when necessary, assists in organizing meetings / activities

Treasurer Maintains funds, does not launder money

Secretary Takes notes during meetings

Marketing & Outreach Director

Promotes ISA, establishes contact with potential sponsors, “public relations”, recruits new members

Event Planner 1 |Event Planner 2

Coordinates activities, plans events (Captain Obvious to the rescue!)

Chief Tech Officer Manages ISA website, creates Facebook events

• Being an officer means being more deeply involved in improving the ties among the U of A’s vibrant international community and between international and domestic students!

• An event will be posted in the Facebook group(remember, http://www.facebook.com/groups/mtwua)

• Announce your candidacy, specifying the position you’re running for.

• Write a few sentences about yourself and why you would like to run for the post.

• Likes = votes• You can also come up to one of the current officers (Jie,

Junxiao, Natalia, me) with a folded slip of paper indicating the name and position of the person you’re voting for.

• If there’s more than 1 candidate running for a position, the one with more total votes (likes + ballots) will be the winner.

• The election group on Facebook will be open for 2 weeks (until Sunday, December 1)

• If you WANT to help ISA expand and become THE place for incoming international students, chances are you’d make a great officer
