FEEL:THINK FROM YOUR HEART

Our school, MSMSV, is dynamic and provides a platform for the students to showcase their talents. It also appreciates new ideas and gives opportunities to experiment in bringing change for good. With the same thought, we DFC team decided to decorate our school. Though our school is very clean and beautiful but we wanted to take its aesthetic to a level higher. We decided on the theme TRADITIONAL INDIAN ART AND CULTURE.

IMAGINE:VISUALISE SUCCESS

Whatever we feel if not expressed is futile. To express we need to imagine the picture of our goal. The DFC team let the imaginations go wild in each of the team members for the change we all wanted to see in the school. We all scattered into the different areas of our school, to search for the places which could be beautified with our magical , artistic hands. We marked our assembly stage , the lily pool area & the benches in the canteen area to be painted . Further, we all sat together and planned the implication of the objective.

BRAIN STORMIN’ N MOTIVATIN’ !!!!!

DO: MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN The Change does not happen on its own, we have to make

the change happen. The DFC team with the promise and enthusiasm to enhance the beauty of the school set themselves into action .

• Planning : The DFC team members went to the fine art teacher and asked for her guidance and discussed about the raw material required to decorate these areas of the school. Then we requested the children to bring paint, brushes , tracing paper etc. and contribute to the cause for change.

• Implementation: We asked the commercial and fine art students to help us in painting the Mandana Designs on the stage wall of the assembly ground .The students also painted the trees and benches in the play ground (lily pool) area .

DO: MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN

This exercise makes the children realize the importance of 'action' to be harbinger of change. It also inculcates team spirit, interaction, organizational and planning skills in the children.

The DO step not only makes the children

organized but also makes them interactive and humble and also builds team spirit and sportsmanship.
