What is a Resource

A stock or supply of money, materials, staff, and other assets that can be drawn on by a person or organization in order to function effectively.

Anything which is used to satisfy our needs is called a resource

We Can Classify resources through utility and value.

Human resources is the set of individuals who make up the workforce of an organization, business sector, or economy. 

Human Resource is the ultimate resource. Human resources Like other resources are

not equally distributed over the world . They differ in their in their educational levels,

age and sex. Their number and characteristics also keep

changing.

Distribution of Population

The way in which people are spread cross the earth surface is known as the pattern of population distribution.

The Distribution of population in the world is extremely uneven.

Some areas are very crowded and some are sparsely populated.

Density of Population

If only the Earth's land area of 150 million km2(58 million sq. miles) is taken into account, then human population density increases to 47 per km2 (120 per sq. mile). This includes all continental and island land area, including Antarctica.

Population density is the number of living in unit area of the earth’s surface.

It is expressed in as square km.

Population Change

The population change refers to change in the number of people during the specific time. The world population has not been stable. It has increased manifold.

This subject is very closely related to demographics, the statistics of how many people there are in a given population.

It also depends on Birth Rate and Death Rate.

A population cycle in zoology is a phenomenon where populations rise and fall over a predictable period of time.
