GOD REALLY DOES HAVE THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS

He created all the nations and their languages ( Gen 11)

He determined their boundaries and when they should exist (Acts 17:26) “and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation...”

“When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when He divided all humankind, He set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel”. (Deuteronomy 32:8).

GOD DETERMINES THE RISE & FALL OF NATIONS

“God said to Abram, "Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years. (Gen 15:13)

Daniel told the pagan king Nebuchadnezzar: “You shall be driven away from human society...until you have learned that the Most High has sovereignty over the kingdom of mortals and gives it to whom He will (Daniel 4:32).

“ Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God” (Rom. 13:1).

For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "I have raised you up for the very purpose of showing my power in you, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth" (Romans 9:17).

The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord, He turns it wherever He wishes” ( Prov. 21:1)
