With a progressive and visionary management, we have established many research facilities where we are conducting research work in the areas of Renewable Energy, Material Science and Environmental Science.

We have collaborations with several research centre's and universities in India and abroad. Our ongoing research projects include one in collaboration with Taiwan and IIT New Delhi for developing efficient material for solar cell to increase efficiency by 100%. With Ukraine there is a project on earthquake prediction.

A Centre for Science Communication in the University has a Publication Section which is publishing popular science books in Hindi language under the project 'Anusrijan'. CSC also organizes various events in and outside the University for Science Communication cause.

AISECT University has established an independent Centre for Renewable Energy. It has a Resource Section which is converting entire university into 'Green Campus' through self-generated Renewable Energy Hybrid System (Wind and Solar Energy) in a phased manner.

There is also an Energy Skill Centre which has facilities to provide skill on wind, solar and thermal power systems.

CENTRE FOR SCIENCE COMMUNICATION (CSC)

The AISECT University is the first private University in Bhopal which introduced skill courses as compulsory courses at UG level, across all disciplines. After an MoU signed with NSDC, AISECT University has started the Skill Academy under NSFQ framework; which is currently equipped to impart skill courses to 10 + 2 students in over 20 types of skills for certificate and diploma, ranging for duration of one week to one year.

The University has also entered into MoUs with many skilling agencies like Reliance IT Power, Tata Motors, etc., and will set up many skilling centre's to cater the industry needs and train rural masses.

There is an independent Centre for E-learning in the University that provides the entire syllabus and curriculum online, thus making the courses available on distance learning mode as well.

The centre provides counseling, video lectures and the facility of taking examination online. All these efforts help the University to contribute towards improving GRE at national level.

Art and culture form a greater portion of our rich tradition. At AU, more emphasis is laid on the participation of students in these activities because such activities play a vital role in maintaining communal harmony and developing mutual respect for the varied cultures that make our country so colorful. Music, dance events, theatre, debates; free-hand sketching, seminars and group discussions are the various activities that form a part of the wholesome college experience for a student.

At AISECT University, we make sure that a student makes the most of the crucial years of his life and gets proper guidance which would prove beneficial in the longer run. Our world-class infrastructure and modern teaching techniques at both graduate and post graduate level plays a pivotal role in the overall grooming of the student.The University is aided with premium technology labs and digital classrooms. It uses innovative and interactive teaching methodology to groom its students into better professionals.

CULTURAL AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

A fleet of buses is run by the University, which covers a radius of around 35 km around the institute. This facility is a part of safety measures taken by the University for its students and staff members.

To maintain decorum at the University a special committee has been formed which makes sure that no-one violates the general rules and regulations at the University. In case a student is found guilty, the committee holds the authority to take actions against him, which may include suspension or expulsion from the University.

Sports activities play a vital role in overall development of a student. AU encourages students to participate in sports activities to inculcate team spirit and for their holistic development. The University houses world-class facilities for Cricket, Hockey, Football, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Basketball, and Kho-Kho, available to both students and faculty members.

It is the unique and largest scheme of merit-cum means scholarship program in the state, offered by AISECT University which allows students from every section of the society to get quality education. Over Rs.50 lakh are given to deserving students every year in the form of scholarship. Then, there are Reward Prizes and Medals that are awarded to achievers at the end of every academic year. There are provisions of concessions and fees waiver for economically weaker class. They also serve as a ladder for students to achieve their dreams and play a pivotal role in motivating them.

SHIKSHA MITRA SCHOLARSHIP

Ragging is strictly prohibited at AISECT University and to look after the mattersthat fall under The Category of ragging. Any act of ragging is dealt with on priority basis and stringent actions are taken against those involved in the act.

ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE

ANTI-SEXUAL HARASSMENT CELLAn Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell has been formed at the University as per the guidelines of the UGC and the Supreme Court. It ensures that no student or staff member fall victim of any discrimination or harassment. The cell also acts as amediator to resolve all the cases that fall under the category.

The University regularly organizes conferences, workshops, symposiums at international, national and regional levels in order to widen the exposure given to its students and prepare them for the industry. On 14th-15th February, 2014 a big International Conference on Emerging Trends in Science and Technology–Impact on Environment and Society was organized in which ten countries including USA, Germany, Korea, Taiwan, Spain, Sweden, Japan took part. Such events bring ample of learning opportunities to students.

CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS

Research at AU has a distinctive approach and is looked after by an independent group of learned professors. The University believes in sharing resources and carrying out joint research projects. It has signed MoU and works in close association with many research organizations like NITTTR, CRIPS, CIAE, BSNL, Microsoft, MPCST, MANIT etc. within the country and also on joint research projects with organizations like RPI (USA), Siegen University (Germany), etc. outside the country.

The University provides motivation to the students to go beyond classrooms/campus and take up serious social activities. AU adopted three nearby villages of Bhopal where programs about social betterment, education and hygiene were conducted to spread general awareness under the AU banner 'Jagrati'. Periodic blood donation camps, tree plantation drives, programs on environment, women empowerment, etc. are regularly conducted.

AU has student chapters, institute chapters, active membership and close association with many institutions, societies and organizations like IETE, ISTE, CSI, FICCI, CII, Ph.D., Chamber of Commerce etc.

The University encourages students‘ writing skills and creativity by involving them in in-house print options. AU publishes Science, Technology & Management journals bi-yearly under the title 'Anusandhan'. For non-technical discipline the research journal 'Shodhaytan' is published.

The newsletter 'AU Times' is a mirror of events happeningat the University. The publications at AU are mostly online as well.

TECHNICAL JOURNAL AND NEWS BULLETIN

The cell supports the students in seeking job and helps them to make a better career. The placement cell guides the students to choose and explore those career options in which their true interest lies. Moreover, the close association of AISECT Group with the top most management and IT companies provides the students a plethora of opportunities to choose.

The University has made provisions for a student council, which play a major role in understanding the needs of the students better. The council helps in promoting discipline and incorporating a freedom of thought among the students, encourages participation of the students in major discussions and helps in bringing in an environment to promote democratic decision making.

This special scheme has been made functional to make sure that each student at the University gets all-round development and no one is left behind. Under this scheme a group of 10 students are allocated to each member of teaching staff who acts as their Tutor Guardian. They help the students with their daily schedule and are in continuous contact with the parents of the students.

• You should obtain the Application Form from the University office by paying Rs. 500/- in cash/DD issued in favor of ‘AISECT University’, payable at Bhopal or by downloading the admission form from the University's website, www.aisectuniversity.ac.in

• If you have downloaded the Application Form from the website please enclose a DD for Rs. 500/- issued in favor of ‘AISECT University’, payable at Bhopal

• Submit the duly filled Application Form with all necessary documents prior to the last date of submission to the University office. Forms received after the last date of submission will be rejected

• Qualifying candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of Admission Procedure (Written Test and/or Group Discussion and/Interview/Direct admission) on the University's website

• In case of direct admission, it would be carried out based on the Merit list of the forms received

• List of selected candidates shall be displayed on the University website. An email shall be sent to you in this regard. An SMS shall also be sent to your mobile number regarding your selection with the due date for verification of documents and fee submission. No other forms of communication will be sent in this regard

• Failure to pay the fee within the specified date or to report for classes after payment of fee will entail cancellation of admission
