Front page

My intentions for the front pageDay 1: I want to begin organising photo shoots and asking people if they

would model for my magazine, while I do this I want to begin designing my mast head

Day 2: Once I have my photos I want to begin editing them onto the page to compose it then add my mast head

Day 3: Then begin adding my sell lines and begin designing the barcode, posters and banner for the bottom of the page

Day 5: Add my banner and begin placing the shopping sell line on the page, once finished add the images

Day 5: Draw the sun and add my model into itDay 6: Photoshop all imagesDay 7: Photoshop all imagesAdditional work to do: download fonts, scan in call sheets, model release

forms and flat plans any additional research into photo shopping

Front pageTo begin my front page I chose to place my model’s image on the page. I then used this ‘You tube’ clip to edit and retouch her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNB9Mepi1VI

Front pageI then added my mast head and sell lines and banner

Front pageI then added a pink box to the bottom of the screen. Created posters in a new Photoshop document placed them on the banner, created another sell line and added a barcode.

Front pageI then began adding my main sell line however I had to adjust my sell line’s size as they were to big.

Front pageOnce I had completed that I began drawing out my shopping sell line using shapes. Then I added a image of a top and nail polish

Front pageFinally, I drew a sun onto the page to finish the sell lines and added my model into the sun then painted the background blue

I then decided I didn’t like the main model on the page as she was wearing too dark clothes and didn’t fit with the theme of pop so we retook the images with different clothes.

Front pageChanges:• On the flat plan the model had a close up however on my product the

model is a medium shot. I changed this because her clothes were bold and bright so would add an extra colour to the page which I thought looked better.
