Objectives

Understand what is meant by “Flipped Learning” Be aware of some of the advantages of flipped

learning Be aware of some tools to produce flipped

resources Hear from a provider who has seen the benefits of

using technology to deliver Flipped CPD for H&S mandatory training

Be aware of how technology can support effective delivery and engagement

The Flipped Classroom

Teachers record lectures on video and post them online, rather than lecturing in class time.

Students watch the videos as homework. The classroom is then all about active work and
