Start of the process
To start my radio advert it had to import my voice recordings to do this you have to press Insert and Media Files to open your files and import your music/voiceovers etc.
This will then open this document where you can select what you want to put into Reaper.Below I have imported all of my voice recordings and soundtrack. This is without any editing. I then began to cut down so I had the parts of the voice recordings needed, without any pauses or mistakes.
This then looked like this. I then had to match the soundtrack summertime to my speech and make sure that the music faded out at the correct time of when my voiceover stopped speaking.
This is what it looked like once I had mixed the song together. The end of the song, I wanted it to sound just as loud as the voice so I used the volume option to turn the volume up.
The green line at the bottom is where you move the volume; the higher the green line is the higher it will sound. I then added the sound effect of the car engine starting, as this was a 45 minute sound effect I only needed 5 seconds, so I then had to cut this down. Before:

This was my entire advert put together, but as my voiceovers voice was very high pitch I had to edit it in software called Adobe Audition, with this I was able to turn the tone and pitch of the voice down. Below is an example of my editing.
After that I rendered the whole advert out together to make my final copy which looked like this:Final Edit
