Final Evaluation of audience feedback

Strengths of my product:

Colour scheme is conventional

Good range of fonts used

Relaxed and informal tone

Weaknesses/improvements to be made to my product:

White text boxes on the Double Page Spread.

I will meet this criticism by removing the white background to the text boxes and

make the text boxes transparent instead.

The colour scheme is too similar.

I will make sure I vary the colour of some of the fonts I use on the front cover and

contents page. However, I chose to include pink heavily due to the 85% female

target audience who are likely to find the traditionally feminine colour appealing.

The other colours I will include, will still match in with the pink background that I

would like to include because of its conventionality.

The images on the Double Page Spread look stretched.

To meet this criticism, I have decided to replace the images on the double page

spread completely, and to ensure they are of a better quality; I will use a better

camera to take the pictures in the first place.

Only some of the images are conventional.

To improve this, I will check all of the images individually and ask a small focus

group of my target audience which images in particular are unconventional for the

genre. I will then change these images or place them in different places in the

magazine to make them more conventional when the audience is reading my

magazine.
