2. Exceptional Student Education, also known as ESE, refers to the education that is mostly meant for children who are suffering from physical or mental disabilities 3. Children who are not in the normal curve when it comes to academics, social development, and or mental development. This includes children who perform below the curve or those who perform at an accelerated rate. All of these children fall into the category of exceptional children. 4. Tense recognition worksheet- This ESL printable focuses on an extensive tense review for advanced level classes which requires learners to name tenses. The sheet further provides a second version which requires students to conjugate tenses. It's a great challenge as well as an excellent review.Grammar Chants- Grammar chants are extremely popular with classes. This page provides more than twenty grammar chants which can easily be used as ESL printables for yourclasses.Vocabulary worksheets- A great way to improve your child's vocabulary. Vocabulary practice is essential to improving language arts skills. Test Accommodations and Modifications Accommodations are changes made in how a test is administered. These include allowing a student extra time for a test or giving the test orally. Modifications are changes actually made to a test. Test modifications include fewer questions and changing the type of questions. Make tests with multiple choice questions and less choices. Try to avoid essay questions and fill in the blank. Overhead Notes and Answers Put notes on the overhead projector and make them take notes. Some ESE students find it difficult to locate answers to questions on their own. Allowing students to copy the question and answer helps them to remember information. Visual Aids Many ESE students are visual rather than auditory learners. Provide students with videos, PowerPoint presentations and Smart Board activities. This benefits students who are poor readers. Use graphic organizers. They help a student organize his thoughts and information logically, using a visual worksheet or graph. 6.
