Digital Camera’s & Apple Macs Digital Camera A digital camera or digicam is a camera that encodes digital

images and videos digitally and stores them for later reproduction. Most cameras sold today are digital, and digital cameras are incorporated into many

devices ranging from PDAs and mobile phones (called camera phones) to vehicles. Digital and film cameras share an optical system, typically using a lens with a

variable diaphragm to focus light onto an image pickup device. Over 1 billion digital camera’s are sold a year. Apple Macs Apple was founded as a partnership on April Fool’s Day 1976 by three people who

originally worked at Atari: Steven Gary Wozniak (1950- ), Steven Paul Jobs (1955-2011), and Ronald Gerald Wayne (1934- )

For the first 30 years, Apple was called Apple Computer, Inc. On January 9, 2007, it removed the word “Computer” to reflect its expanding electronic market.

Development of my skills within technologies During my time constructing my magazine I have used various technologies

that have required my skill to improve immensely, in order for my final product to look acceptable and induct a good grade from the moderator. The main technology I have had to use during the construction of my final product is photo shop. In the past i have never used photo shop, not even for fun, so getting to grips with the technology took its time. When I first started off I struggled with using the technology as i could not get anything to go right and could not edit my photo very well and even my magazine. It took time but i eventually began to get to grips with photo shop and this allowed me to develop my magazine a lot more. It allowed me to edit my photos and also make various changes to my magazine. Another way I developed my skills within technology is my skills with a Digital camera. I have never been the one for taking constant photo's with digital camera’s or taking photo’s on my phone, but when it came to taking photo’s of models when performing my photo shoot, I practised camera angles and poses that models could use and found, that when I was taking the photo’s of my models during the photo shoot that I was capturing different camera poses using various camera angles and found that, with the camera I felt comfortable and enjoyed conducting the photo shoot.

Why did I choose to use certain technologies. Photo shop- I chose to use photo shop to finish my final

product, by editing photos and my magazine.Digital camera’s- I chose to use digital camera to gather

the best quality photo’s for my magazine during my photo shoot.

Powtoon & Prezi- I chose to use powtoon & prezi to help with audience profiles and my evaluation questions

Apple macs- I chose to use apple Mac’s to do powerpoints, use word and photo shop etc. This was because it was easier to use than a standard computer or laptop as apple mac’s jave a great advancement in technology.

Blogger- I choose to use blogger as it allowed me to share all my information with other users and people as it was easier to share my completed work and progression.

The most useful technologies I found that for final product construction that blogger and

photo shop have been the two most useful technologies, I have used. Bloggger made it very useful to keep people updated step by step on how I got information for intended audience, what genre of music I was using for magazine basis, what the genre was about etc. Photo shop (for me) has been the most useful technology throughout this experience. It was very good for editing my final product (magazine). It allowed me to put stuff onto my front cover, contents page and double page spread. It also allowed me to edit my photos so that they fitted onto my magazine. I could also add extra’s onto my photo’s to make them look more unique, so they looked different from others. It further allowed me to make my magazine look futuristic to fit my genre of music (future and deep house).
