Customized Features

Criteria for tagging a student is customizable. The options shown here can appear on your app or you can choose options that fit your school’s program such as graduation standards, performance indicators, or Common Core State Standards.

Canned Comments

Canned comments are a feature that makes tagging quick and easy while still identifying the specific reason for working with your student. These comments can be customized for your school.

Personalized Comments

Personalized comments allow teachers to communicate directly with students. These comments appear in the student view and can be more specific than the canned comment feature.

Record Keeping

Teachers can see a chronological history of their tags. Teachers can quickly mark for attendance, add comments on student progress, or alter tags. This list can be sorted by date, name, task type and any other pertinent criteria. This allows for ultimate record keeping and accessibility.

School Wide Tags

Teachers can also access a database of school wide tags. This enables teachers to see the complete tag history of a student, see comments made for teacher-to-teacher communication, alter tags based on a priority schedule, and adjust instruction accordingly.

User Logins

Each student, teacher, and administrator can have their own login that brings them to their respective dashboard. Each dashboard has its own set of functions and abilities based on the user’s needs.

Empowerment

Empower students to know where they are going. Students have a calendar view that shows the name of the teacher who has tagged them. This convenient and simplistic design leaves out the guesswork so that students know there are clear expectations for their location during your flex time.

Encouragement

Encourage students to know what they are doing. When students click on the teacher’s name, a detail window opens with available information from their teacher. This can include items such as room number, materials to bring or the assignment that they will be expected to work on.

Attendance

The attendance feature can quickly populate a list of students who did not attend their scheduled tag. This allows office personnel to account for all students in a timely and efficient manner.

The quick search feature allows office personnel to quickly find the scheduled location of any student in the system. Finding a student for a dismissal or emergency is simplified.

Study Hall Lists

If your flexible scheduling program includes a default study hall, edYOUsched can generate a daily study hall list based on students who were not tagged. This can be sorted based on criteria of your choosing. For example, students could be in study halls based on their grade level. Administrators and/or study hall monitors can access this list to account for students, take attendance, and manage their study hall roster.

Reports

Administrators can view several types of bar graphs.

• View the number of tags per student and easily find students who may need more support.

• View the number of tags per teacher to encourage and recognize the outstanding efforts of your staff.

Customized reports can be applied to your app based on specific functions or requirements. Additionally, all data is exportable and can be manipulated in programs such as Numbers or Excel.
