North Central's International Scholarship is an academic scholarship for undergraduate students that is offered to qualified students at the time of admission. The award ranges up to $20,000 per year (up to $80,000 over four years) and is renewable if the student remains in good academic standing. Grades, test scores, essay and teacher recommendations are considered in the award review. This award is called the International Student Award and is in the amount of $1,000/ semester. All new international students are automatically eligible for this scholarship when they apply to the university. It is not necessary to fill out a separate application for the International Student Award. Recipients of the International Student Award will be chosen based on test scores and grades. The George Washington UniversityCypriot Teenagers Make Video for Peace

A group of 20 high school-level Turkish and Greek Cypriots came to TheGeorge Washington University in summer 2013 as part of GW’s International Summer initiative.They recently produced a video that put their new skills into practice, featuring Cypriot youthdiscussing their hopes for the future of their country. This program is one of a variety of ways that high school students from all over the world join GW’scampus community every summer. For example, in our GW Pre-College Program, internationalhigh school students can choose from credit or non-credit options that last from one to six weeks. CARROLL UNIVERSITY (WI) STILL ACCEPTING SPRING 2014APPLICATIONS FOR INTENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM

Carroll University, located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, only 90 minutes fromChicago and 20 minutes from Milwaukee, is still accepting applications for Spring 2014 admission inthe the Intensive English Program (IEP). The program is open to students of all levels of Englishlanguage proficiency and no TOEFL/IELTS scores are required for admission.
