About This CourseStatement of Purpose

This introduction to Pest Management is provided by EcoPest, your company’s

contracted pest control service provider. This training is intended for the employees

of food processing and food handling facilities where we work. Each employee

plays an essential role in your company’s food safety program and your

understanding of pest prevention will help your company to assure safe food

products for your customers.

This course is designed to provide training for individuals like you, a valued team

member of your company’s Food Safety Program. The course is available to

complete anytime and anywhere; you make the determination as to what is most

convenient for your schedule. The course consists of five sessions based on the

learning objectives for this course. Learning activities contained within the

sessions are designed to engage the learner with examples and activities specific

to the Preventive Pest Management program in your facility.
