11.   Aims   This  unit  aims  to:  

• Understand  the  role  of  IT  in  business  • Equip  students  with  knowledge  of  the  available  

software  and  cloud-­‐based  application  for  business  task.  

• Critical  thinking  in  IT  applications  for  different  business  task  

• Practice  project  management  in  assignments    

12.   Anticipated  Learning  Outcomes   Upon  completion  of  the  unit,  students  will  be  able  to:  

• Understand  IT  role  in  business  • Identify  appropiate  IT  application  to  meet  

business  tasks  • Develop  practical  IT  skills    • Integrate  different  cloud-­‐based  applications  with  

stand-­‐alone  software  

 13.   Synopsis     This  module  introduce  role  of  IT  in  business,  latest  IT  applications,  and  how  they  are  inter-­‐related  through  practical  sessions.
