This organization has conducted numerous public events to promote human and cultural values in all beings (young as well as old). Mr. Darpan Shah, the key person of this organization, is the man of ethics & values; he instills people to serve humanity and to add value to community. He is persistently making efforts to educate people about their rights and latest schemes introduced by government of India.

Presently, Harivandana Trust is primarily involved in four segments:

Mr. Darpan Shan, a benevolent personality is helping poor people by providing free education to them. Being a social worker, he is offering accommodation to elder people and focusing on other social issues. Darpan Shah in Harivandana is making a difference by solving health issues among Indian society and making positive and life changing impacts on community. Harivandana Trust has recently donated a funeral van “Sabvahini” to funeral organization to help families.

Organizations

Harivandana Trust is majorly engaged in offering social services in the society. Mr. Darpan Shah founder of Harivandana Trust has conducted various programs and events to educate our society about health care, importance of education, gender equality, child right, woman right, and care for physically challenged. Harivandana Trust has supported many women who are badly treated by their husbands and by society. Key person of Harivandana, Mr. Darpan Shah has provided shelter to many such women and encourage them to lead and live their life independently. He has introduced many employment opportunities for such women so that they can earn money and fulfill their dreams.

Harivandana Trust assists crime victims, feeds hungry and deprived people, provides shelter to homeless, aids people to prepare for and recover from disasters, and maintains public places and gardens. The Trust has organized and conducted youth development and motivational programs to encourage them to follow the right track to become great leaders who will direct our nation towards prosperity. Many healthcare camps were also arranged by this trust organization to provide preventive and curative health services to society people.

Health Issues

Harivandana Trust is focusing to make our society disease free by spreading the awareness on health issues and healthcare. By coordinating and cooperating with existing healthcare organizations, Mr. Darpan Shah, the chief person of Harivandana has managed to improve immunization and shrink infant mortality in rural regions. In villages, the amount of people suffering with many diseases is more than that of urban areas as they do not get proper treatment due to lack of healthcare facilities. Mr. Darpan Shah, a social worker has conducted many health care programs to educate parents to know the symptoms of common diseases and to take the right steps to treat them effectively.

Mr. Darpan Shah in Harivandana believes that by devoted few hours from his busy schedule, he can change the lives of human beings. Thus, he is consistently performing to uplift and improve the health standard of people in rural and urban areas. He is associated with many organizations who are working hard to enhance the health system in our nation. Harivandana Trust is dedicated to provide clinical and support services to patients recovering from mental illness and other life-threatening diseases.

Elder Homes

Harivandana, a charitable trust is actively involved in providing homes for elder women and men who are retired or have less income or have been abandoned by their siblings in our society. The Trust majorly focuses on maintaining and improving as far as possible the quality of life of old age people. Mr. Darpan Shah, a benevolent person conducts many programs to make elder people aware about their rights and always encourages them to live independently in the homes provided by Harivandana.

Being a social worker, Mr. Darpan Shah is completely devoted to offer support to old age men and women who have no place to stay when they are almost at the end phase of their lives. He is making a difference by providing them shelter in elder homes provided by Harivandana Trust. Mr. Shah wanted to share pleasure and pain with such people; thus, in these homes, he provides them everything in terms of respect, love, care, comfort and regard which they have never received from their children and relatives. Harivandana is providing homes to elders with the aim to make elder people happy in the sunsets of their lives.

EDUCATION FOR NEEDY

Education is a primary human right and essential in achieving economic growth, improving income, and supporting a healthy society. Education is the only key to get rid of poverty and to ensure that all people especially women can control their destiny. Harivandana Trust is working in this direction and contributed in many ways to educate each and every person of our society. Mr. Darpan Shah, in Harivandana has helped many poor people, who cannot afford money to educate their children. This Trust has constructed many schools where free yet best education is offered to poor students who are motivated and dedicated to become educated personalities. Harivandana conducts many programs for children to learn them about ethical, moral, cultural and human values.

Harivandana believes that by providing free education to children, mainly to girls, gives them the opportunity to reach their full potential and helps them to raise their communities outside poverty. This trust’s ultimate goal is to improve the access to education, improve quality of education and improve the management of education. Mr. Darpan Shah is persistently working to fulfill his dream to see a prosperous nation by educating poor children as they are the future of our country.

Donation collected from Harivandana has supported many people by providing them best healthcare, best education and best accommodation. Recently, he has donated a funeral van “Sabvahini” to offer comfortable cremation to deceased one.
