Resilient Staff

• No matter what was thrown at this staff they always allowed their professional spirit to shine through!

• Having been identified as a priority school this staff embraced new professional learning with enthusiasm and determination.

• Often the entire staff attended professional learning before school, after school, and on weekends for the last two years.

• Over 95% of the teaching staff participated in various book studies during this period.

• Many teachers have changed positions several times throughout this period. Each and every one of them rolled up their selves and rose to the challenge.

• The 2014-2015 Cummings School Year has been tumultuous to say the least. • 3 Different Administrators

• 3 Different Sets of Expectations

• 3 Different Goals

• Staff Changes (retirements, change of assignments, etc.)

• Various Conferences

• Community Celebration 100% Funded by the Staff

• Over 500 community members, students, and staff attended.

Looking forward

• On June 12, 2015 many of us walked out of Cummings Elementary for last time. We left with our heads held high knowing that we never gave up!

• Each and every one of us look forward to joining a new staff and continuing our work with children.

• We look forward to the future with excitement!
