Conquistador

• To take as a rightful owner.

Desertions

• The abandonment without consent or legal justification of a person, post or relation and associated duties and obligations.

• Soldiers ran away from their duties.

Missionary

• A person who is sent to a foreign country to do religious work such as to convince people to join a religion or to help people who are sick, poor etc..

Colony

• A settlement ruled by another country

• People who live in a colony .

Plantation

• Hugh farms.• A large are of land

especially in a hot part of the world where crops (such as cotton) are grown.

Columbian Exchange

• A movement that people continued to explore and cross the Atlantic Ocean, plant, animals, and people were brought from one continent to another.

Northwest Passage

• European traders hoped the water route cutting through North America is a much faster way to reach Asia.

Trade Network

• A system of trading among the American Indian tribes in eastern Canada.

Agent

• One who is authorized to act for or in place of another.

• A representative.

Armada

• Fleet of warships.

Profit

• Money left over after everything has been paid for.

Pilgrim

• A person who makes a journey for a religious reason.

Compact

• An agreement.

Mayflower Compact

• An agreement was to keep orders for all on board of Mayflower and it was signed by 41 men.

Interpreter

• A person who translates the words that someone is speaking into a different language.
