Globalization and the emergence of a new world order have made it imperative for governments to look at new ways of improving public service delivery. This has brought e-government to the forefront in all countries that have started attuning themselves to a knowledge-led world economy.

CSG plans for good governance. Considering the systems and methods already in place in developed countries, the accent is on creating appropriate governance and institutional mechanisms, establishing core infrastructure and policies, and implementing e-government projects at the central and state levels. Drawing on its inherent strengths as a public-private organization, CSG has been playing a leading role in this task.
