The air bags are one of the most helpful

accessories that can save your life when you face any

dangerous or misery filled situation while your travel. If you

are on the surface than it is easy to get to a safe place

but if you are traveling on the water or in the air then the

surface escape option is not available so it is hard to find

any safe place in the air or water.

An airbag is a vehicle safety device.

It is an occupant restraint system consisting of a flexible

fabric envelope or cushion designed to inflate rapidly

during an automobile collision.

The air bag system can be broken down into two maincomponents.

These are the impact sensor and the air bag module unit. The impact sensor does what its name implies, sensesimpacts.

The sensors are set to a sensitivity level where they will onlydeploy in an accident that is equal to or greater than a 12mph crash into a concrete wall.

The sensors function by detecting automobiledeceleration.

When the automobile decelerates at a rapid rate, thesensors are tripped.

This deceleration detecting is the job of two or moredeceleration sensors, placed at the front of the car.

When the sensors go off, they send an electrical current tothe air bag module unit, causing it to deploy.

The air bag module unit consists of an inflator assembly, anylon bag, and a breakaway cover.

This unit is typically located in the steering wheel columnon the driver's side or in the dashboard on the passenger'sside.

The electrical current from the sensors travels to the inflatorassembly, where it causes a tiny initiator to be fired.

This initiator creates a spark which ignites a propellant, which in most air bags is sodium oxide.

The reaction creates nitrogen gas.

Cinders are removed and the gas is cooled through afiltration screen also inside the assembly.

The nitrogen gas is what causes the air bag to inflate.

This inflation occurs in an average of only 30 milliseconds.

When an occupant plunges into the air bag, the gas ifforced backwards through vents, a process which takesanother forty-five milliseconds.

The whole sequence from initial detection of a crash, untilthe air bag is fully deployed, happens very quickly.

This quickness is required in order to protect those inside ofthe car, and was one of the major obstacles that neededto be overcome in the development of the air bag.

The purpose of an airbag is to help the passenger in the

car reduce their speed in collision without getting injured.

Its purpose is to cushion occupants during a crash and

provide protection to their bodies when they strike interior

objects such as the steering wheel or a window.

Air bags have been modified and created for injury

reduction.

Insurance offers low cost insurances for air bags

protection.

Air bag has been designed safely which offer

convenience and full comfort to a passenger.

Using the airbag is simple and this process is fast and most

compatible one for any problematic issue.

Belt fixing makes air-flying trip little more comfortable and

it will safely leave the passenger to the surface.

Airbags are very effective but it also has some injury risks.

Sometimes it could lead to a fatal injury because it is like a

belted or unbelted automatic flying vehicle which will fly

you without any destination direction.

Accidents Possibilities of air bags passengers becomes

high when it leads to any vehicle filled place because

vehicle accidents can lead to a major injury.

Resetting your deployed air bags is not possible and you

can re-position your airbag once it is deployed.
