Brazil has 8,514,215 square kilometers of
land, making it the 5th largest in the world.
Natural Resources:Brazil has the largest
hydrographical network .However, most of the energy comes from
hydroelectric power.
Climate:Brazil is a tropical
country. Its territory are for the major part situated north of the Tropic
of Capricorn.

Lowest point: Atlantic Ocean 0 m
Highest point: Pico da Neblina 2,994 m
People
Population:Brazil has a population
of over 180 million people and it is the fifth most populous country
in the world.
Indigenous:Brazil's rich cultural and ethnic history is a story of interaction between people of European, African,
and indigenous descent.
Religions:Most people in Brazil are Christians. But other religions are : • Jewish• Muslism or Islams• Buddhist• Jehova´s• Shinto• Rastafarian• Umbanda

History
On April 22, 1500, a Portuguese navigator called Pedro Alvares Cabral reached the shores of Brazil. The country took its name from “brazilwood”, a redwood tree commonly found along the Brazilian coastline that was ordinarily used to dye garments back in Europe.
