The OlympicsThe Olympic games are based on an ancient ritual started in Grreece some time in the ninth century B.C.E (Before Common Era, Referring to the year I). The Modern Olympic games began again in 1896 and except for one cancellation during WWII, have continued every four years until the present time winter Olympics and also repeat in a four year cycle.
