Artists that will feature in ‘Pop It’

Daniel Seager

The main artist for my magazine, who will feature on all three

pieces I produce: front cover, contents page and double page

spread is Daniel Seager, an upcoming new artist to the pop

industry.

Daniel is a fun loving 19-year old from london, where he has

grown up his whole life - in ickenham. when he left school at

the age of 16 he was accepted into the brits school in

croydon where he got recognised by simon cowell one day

during a visit. he was then invited down to simon’s studios for

a private studio session and without hesitation was then

signed by mr.cowell.

daniel loves to sing, but other than singing, like any teenage

boy loves football and has done from a young age. his dad

proudly states that he is a very good goalkeeper and if he

was not a professional singer he would of had a shot at fame

in football. more important, he likes going to watch matches

with his dad. the team they both support and go to watch as

often as they can is qpr fc.

other than his passion for music and football, his only other

passion is italian food, and would like to have his own italian

chef to teach him how to cook all his favourite dishes.

Evidently, daniel’s career has only just started and does not yet

have any great achievements as of yet. however, being recognised

by simon cowell and debuting in the pop industry at the age of 19

is an achievement in itself. hopefully, this means that he has a long

and successful career within the music industry and becomes a

global icon.

His idols include: sam smith, ed sheeran and olly murs. he

believes that all have unique traits about them that make them

stand out for him, on top of all of them being ridiculously talented.

he also thinks that they would all be ‘cool’ to hang out with and

wouldn’t be the stereotypical snobby celebrity - but would instead

be down to earth, like himself.

Main Artist

Nicole Sims

Nicole is a solo artist who has an established background to

the music industry. Since she was little she always attended,

dancing, acting and singing classes, which eventually all paid

of. she is a friend to panto and ever since she was little took

part in at least two panto’s a year, and still does to this day.

Her passion has always been singing, as you can tell from

her upbringing, she constantly uploads images of her when

she was younger and performing just to appreciate how far

she has come in the music industry and how grateful she is.

When growing up, Nicole was brought up in greater london in

ruislip and lived there ever since. once she left school at 18

after doing exceedingly well in her A level exams she got a

place in urgang academy, the school she had been dreaming

about attending from a young age and still attends as she

believes that completing her education is important.

other than singing and dancing she loves to hang out with

her girl mates, shopping and having nice days in watch her

favourite film “tangled”.

Nicole’s favourite food is chicken, she said she lives of it,

and couldn’t go a day without eating it!

Nicole is still young and it only 19 and is yet very talented. it is therefore

evident that she has a very successful career ahead of her.

she is a role model to most young females, and they will look up to her

enormously. Not only is she extremely talent but she values the most

important things in life such as education. She also has a history of

charitable work such as going to Africa for three weeks to take up some

volunteering work out there.

She personally says that she looks up to and idolises cheryl cole, who

also had a past of dancing. she believes that she is a very talented

individual, from both when she was in girls aloud and from being a solo

artist. she also congratulates her and her successes due to her previous

bad experiences that were published all over the news.

Feature Artist

Katie RiceKatie Rice is also a solo artist, but was previously in a band

named “triple alliance” but previously went single due to the

pregnancy of one of the other girls in the band, Georgia.

Katie is in her early 20’s (23), she was introduced into the music

industry by her band winning X FACTOR, IN 2013. Before that

she and the other girls would often sign in pubs on both

weekdays and weekends and got a small break when they went

on tour with girls aloud a few years before they auditioned for the

x factor.

since splitting from the band she has become more and more

successful and it is almost forgotten that she was ever in a band.

unlike daniel and nicole, katie did not have a musical upbringing

as such. she was part of the school choir and would sing

occasionally in assembly. so it is rather spectacular how far she

has come to get where she now is, from where she was.

She grew up in a small town called Leysdown in kent, which is a

very small, run down town. she mentioned that it is crazy living

the lifestyle she has now in comparison to her lifestyle before but

she said that leysdown is where her heart lies and returns their

when ever she can.

also in her spare time she catches up with the other girls (who

are thinking about reuniting), and also loves spending time with

her family, especially her two nieces.

Despite her best efforts, katie told us her favourite food was infact

Nando’s and has a failure to resist it, but has said that she is going

to make this a news years resolution for herself.

katie, like the others, is also young, and has a bright future ahead of

her in the music industry and her and the bands win in the x factor

does not go unremembered. she is naturally recognised.

A fun fact that no one knows about her is that she is also a

successful football player and at the age of 18 was offered a

scholarship in the USA.
