In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge

forms and conventions of real media products?

• To challenge the titles convetions I used the .com notation to ensure that people who go to see the film are aware of the marketing on the website.

• The website is a real website at url www.redrum3x.com and the idea is to mix the idea of reality with fiction trailer.

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge

• I was hoping to create elorabrate website but after talking to the teachers I realised a simple look would be better.So I uploaded a free website in order to make the teaser trailer more belieavable.

• Of course the new convention of using movienames.com or even “avatarthemovie.com is not new but I am aware of this and because it recognisable to me I am sure other film fans will search or try to find out using keywords from title of the trailer on google.

• This website was a trial website for free and if I can find other I would use that ,but I was testing the water using this as a sample to see how the process is done.

What have you learned from your audience feedback?

• I learnt that simplicity is easier.

• Learn to listen and collate and edit it down.

• Lot more work than expected.

How did you use new media technologies in the construction

and research, planning and evaluation stages?

• Used powerpoint rather than a long essays

• Blogging much more complicated and have to be disciplined.

• Evaluation takes times to filter the results. and more time needed as input.
