Ancillary task – Audience Feedback:

Do you think the ancillary tasks link to the style of the trailer well?

Yes, I would recognise them both having seen the trailer and they have a similar theme. The posters capture the emotions of the film Yes I think they link well because both show that the film has a mysterious element which

perhaps causes drama in the film. Yes they link well, because they show the different emotions she was going through

Do you think they look professional?

They look professional, especially the poster, that looks particularly good. They look very professional, especially the movie poster. I was intrigued straight away by the

design and photography on this piece. The use of the awards is also a very good effect Yes they look great, they look like any other professional pieces yeah I love them: they says everything they need to, i love the simplicity of the magazine

cover

From the magazine cover, would you buy a copy?

Yes, the cover doesn't give too much away and makes me want to read more into it I probably wouldn't buy it because I don't really buy movie magazines, but it does look

different and appealing Yes, although it is very simple and doesn't give much information to what is inside Definitely

From the poster, would you watch the film?

I like the look of the poster, it looks edgy which is my kind of thing so I'd definitely want to see the film

I love the poster so it would definitely persuade me to watch the film Yes I would, I like how you have got the 6 awards Yeah it has all the information that would make me want to watch it

What improvements would you suggest for the ancillary tasks?

I think some of the fonts on the magazine cover could be more eye-catching I'm not sure if I like the font at the top of the magazine and you could perhaps add more

information on the cover You could possibly have something in the background like fading away to symbolising her

slowly losing her memory or something like that I think on the poster the images are a bit white but over all good use of lighting and space

What age do you think they are targeted at?

Looks like the film that would be for the John Green kind of audience, teenagers/adults, possibly a more female dominated audience

teenagers from around 14-19 Teenagers 16 – 30 16+

What do you like about them?

I like the pictures of the main character and the general layout of the poster I like the blue/black/white theme of the magazine cover I like how there's not much info as people don't want to read reals of information. Also like

the back and white on the magazine as it makes the girl stand out I like how the poster shows how it’s an independent movie. The photo editing is very effective

and shows slightly what the movies about without having to write about it. I also like the title of the magazine and the dramatic portrait of Chrissy.

I like the simplicity, it really suits her character well and the contrast in colour between the black and white with the blue. I also love the use of the text as it’s easy to read
